Led by groundbreaking pioneers within Aerospace and Defense, including former leaders of NASA, McDonnell Douglas, Northrop Grumman, Airbus, Learjet, and Gulfstream, they are at the forefront of improving overall flying experience and achieving ambitious sustainability goals in both commercial airlines and freight.Direct Hire opportunity for a Systems Safety Engineer located in Long Beach, CA.As a Systems Safety Engineer you will:Support Development of Safety Processes in accordance with SAE ARP4761 and ARP4754ADevelop Safety Assessments such as Functional Hazard Assessments (FHAs) and System Safety Assessments (SSAs) as defined in SAE ARP4761.Assign Function Development Assurance Level (FDAL) and Item Development Assurance Level (IDAL) to systems based on Safety Assessments.Derive and manage Safety Requirements. Develop Fault Trees Analysis using CAFTA software.Develop Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Common Cause Analysis (CCA) Coordinate with System/Subsystem SMEs to generate System Level Safety Assessment development.
