Staffing Inc. is partnered with a great company in Norton Shores, MI, who is looking for a Table Builder. We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and hardworking candidate with a good eye for detail. Responsible for assembling table components by examining connections for correct fit as well as fastening parts and subassemblies according to design specifications and approved procedures. Verifying specifications by measuring completed component. Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.Table Builder Benefits:Fun and Friendly work environmentTemp to hire opportunity.Benefits available when hired into the companyTable Builder Responsibilities:Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.Table Builder Qualifications:High school diploma or GED preferredDetail-oriented and possess good math and verbal communication skillsTraining in general safety, awareness and quality system awareness.Knowledge of raw materials, Machines, tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.Accurately prepare documents, production sheets and other reports and related paperwork as required by our proceduresOperation monitoring, quality control analysis, critical thinking, active listening, troubleshooting, complex problem solving, equipment maintenance and reading comprehension.Ability to work closely and follow instructions and written processes.Quick paced, while maintaining quality and safety standards.Good computer skillsAbility to stand for long periods, bend, twist, and lift up to 60 lbs.Pass background check/drug screenGreat attendance and positive attitudeFlexible and team player Work independently and make independent solutions.High-level of visual awarenessWork in a Hot environmentWork Overtime, Weekends and or HolidaysStaffing Inc. - an entirely employee-owned company - is the largest independent employer in West Michigan.
