ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Resolve issues, disputes and correct errors as needed.
Monitor game activity at all times.
Control gaming cards and equipment.
Use table, shoe, and paddle correctly.
Ensure the winning bets are accurately and promptly paid and correct any Dealer errors as required.
Manage administration of Table fills and credits, player ratings and rundowns.
Assist in monitoring staffing levels to maintain full coverage and budgetary compliance.
Analyze guest's play to monitor for cheating, scams, card counters and unusual or suspicious variations in play.
Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, company policies and procedures and team and guest information.
Participate in interviewing, hiring, developing, counseling, and terminating department staff.
Administer disciplinary action, as necessary.
Participate and deliver thorough performance reviews for team members.
Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
Keep assigned work area in a clean and orderly manner.
Ensure the safety and security of guests and team members.
Comply with all policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Technical school education or previous casino experience in dealing table games is preferred.
Proficiency in all games offered will train the right candidate.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License.
Must be able to work any assigned shift, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Read, write, and understand English.
Communicate appropriately with all departments and fellow team members.
Good eye-hand coordination.
Able to add monies and chips in order to properly payout winning bets.
Knowledge of theft techniques.
Good guest service and communication skills.
Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Walk, stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear, and communicate in English.
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
Bend, and reach frequently.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly exposed to variable temperatures and bright flashing lights. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
