Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARYThe Dealer's main purpose is to deal poker to the guests of THE ROW in a friendly and professional manner. The Dealer must take the correct house rake. The Dealer must provide excellent guest service.ESSENTIAL DUITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May include, but is not limited to the following)
- Must be able to deal poker in a friendly and professional manner
- Must be able to take the correct house rake
- Must understand and adhere to all rules and policies in THE ROW Poker Room Rule Book and Procedure Manual
- Must understand and adhere to minimal Nevada State Gaming Control Board Rules and Regulations
- Must have some Internal audit knowledge
- Must understand and adhere to Bad Beat Jackpot rules and procedures
- Must protect and maintain table banks
- Must account for chips and money going out and coming in for new table game sell-off.
- Must occasionally shill the Seven Card Stud games, while on break. This is necessary when Seven Stud games are short handed. Dealers will be asked to do so by the Supervisor. About half of the Dealers breaks are spent in the Poker Room assisting the Supervisor.
- Must help with other Poker Room needs. Must take chips to guests at the tables and wait on guests who enter the Poker Room. Must help keep the Poker Room clean, safe and orderly.
- Must provide information to guests on all current Poker Room promotions. The Dealer must know tournament dates and times; and be up-to-date with all current promotions.
- Provide other guest services~ The Dealer must be an ambassador for the Eldorado Hotel/Casino. Exemplify our core values, family style service, our mission and vision

- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Excellent organizational skills required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Read, write, and communicate verbally in English
- Skill in preparing and maintaining records, letter writing, and data entry with computer keyboard
- Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures
- Good working knowledge of computer software to include MS Word, Excel
- General Office Experience Preferred
- Experience managing insurance claims a plus
- Certificate/License: None Required
- High School diploma or equivalent (LET THIS BE FOR ALL JD'S MANAGER AND BELOW)
- Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience required (WHEN TO USE PREFERRED)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position)
- Work may be performed in an area, which may be unusually noisy and crowded
- Mobility to include bending, reaching, prolonged standing and walking, accessing and lifting items from floor level to six feet high
- Normal sense of smell, touch, sound and vision range
- Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity
- Work area is subject to variable temperatures
- May be subject to smoking environment and moderate noise
