Your Role The Tableau Analyst is a full time, entry-level position supporting our Company initiative to leverage data to better serve our customers. The position provides first-hand insights to our merchant partners to improve decision making. Leveraging visuals to easily identify strengths and weaknesses that can supplement future or current strategies. This position will be a liaison for not only delivering visuals but also helping the merchant population with how best to leverage Tableau and our other systems. In addition to Tableau, this position will assist in preparation of ad hoc analysis to support Senior leaders. What You'll Do

  • Assist in bringing data to life through visualization from Tableau
  • Partner with cross functional teams to understand needs and develop, test, and deploy new visualizations that assist in better merchandising decision making
  • Responsible for updating, refining, and maintaining existing Tableau views along with ad hoc data analysis Communicates with buying offices on discrepancies
  • Listening skills are a must as you will be taking needs from users across the organization to establish requirements for new visualizations or enhancements to existing templates
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
  • Previous experience in retail, service, or other fast paced environments
  • Must be analytical, articulate, and organized
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must work confidently in teams
  • Able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office properties
  • Must have a firm understanding of SQL, Excel, Tableau, and DB visualizer
  • Quick study on new computer systems and quickly understands and incorporates new system functionality
  • Strong follow up and follow through to make sure all tasks are taken to full completion
