Apply via Dice today!RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Chicago, IL that is seeking a skilled and experienced Tableau Data Analyst to drive the filling of existing data gaps between multiple applications.Responsibilities:Tableau Data Analyst will work with internal stakeholders and partners to uncover the root causes of the current reporting gaps between our CRM, Finance, and SaaS Administrative systemsUse your data analysis skills to write queries and reports to expose the root causes and any data deficienciesWork to fill in the gaps with the missing data by leveraging Tableau reports and system data and interacting with the necessary business contactsWork directly with internal stakeholders and work partners to uncover underlying data shortcomings based on user feedback and verifiable and anecdotal evidenceCreate reports to validate user feedback and determine the extent of the problemsPresent your findings and work with the team to develop solutions to these problems; Solutions should adhere to best practices and cause minimal disruption to current business processesAs you uncover data gaps, document the specific data values and work to have those updated in the source systemsAs a Tableau Data Analyst, you will create reports to verify the implemented solutions' effectiveness and ensure continued data integrityDocument your work throughout each project phase, including detailed explanations of reports and implemented solutionsREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited University/College and 4 years of experience in a data analytics role4+ years of in-depth experience in business system data analysisExperience writing advanced SQL queries for Amazon RedshiftAgile methodologies experienceOracle and Salesforce backend and database schema knowledge.Knowledge of database best practices, particularly the role and use of primary and foreign keysCompTIA Data+Tableau, Power BI, or ExcelVerbal and Visual Data PresentationProficiency in understanding database schemas, tables, and data typesStrong written communication skillsSelf-starter who enjoys problem-solving and excels at performing data analysisAdept at developing solutions to address data relationship challenges and turning the underlying data into actionable and insightful informationAnalytical aptitude with the ability to understand and solve complex problemsTime management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage your workloadAbility to present your findings to both a technical and non-technical audienceAbility to work with and contribute to a team with diverse professional backgroundsThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
