We're growing our team here in Richmond, VA:Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000General Purpose and Function:The Tactical Intelligence Analyst will provide customer service to Altria Client Services, Inc. focusing primarily on risk analysis and prevention. The Tactical Intelligence Analyst must use open-source intelligence, law enforcement/intelligence community sources, and social media to identify and assess threats to the organization/assets, prepare assessments, and coordinate closely with security operational personnel. Analyst is expected to use open-source research skills and provided tools to assist with real-time and situational awareness monitoring for global risks and threats, providing context and recommendations on events and incidents to the broader security team. Analyst should be able to compile all-source data from multiple databases and source repositories to contribute to analytical intelligence reports, graphics, and briefings. Products will be generated in response to requests for information or by initiative. This position will also develop trend analyses and patterns that will be used by the Altria and GardaWorld Security Managers to make decisions regarding preventative or proactive measures.This position will require an on-call rotation (weekly / monthly) and will require a combination of remote and office work (hybrid). Desired Qualifications:
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to pass State mandated training and qualifications for licensing.
  • Two years prior experience as a security / law enforcement intelligence analyst or investigator.
  • Ability to prioritize workload based on urgency.
  • Work experience to include the use of graphical user interface systems, relational databases, and the internet.
Knowledge and skills (general and technical)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise discretion in the interpretation of incidents and events which may be viewed as impacting the security profile of the company, employees, property or operations.
  • Ability to investigate and present matters of significance which may affect the security protocols of the business.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent organizational, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Other related attributes that would enhance hiring considerations:
  • Associate's Degree in criminal justice, science or statistical discipline.
  • Knowledge of Altria Client Services Corporate Security Policy and Procedures.
  • Documented experience and competency in any of the following Software Systems:
    • Everbridge, LifeRaft, Ontic, Kaseware
