LOCATION: Remote - this is a home based, virtual position that operates on US Eastern Standard Time from 8:30am-5:00pm. Must live within 2 hours of Asheville, NC. Must have the ability to travel to the Asheville NC office if needed.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB
The Talent Acquisition Analyst performs recruitment and pre-employment activities at Vaya Health with the focus to source and attract the best talent in the industry. The incumbent provides support with various professional and administrative level duties including HR hiring process review, screening for minimum requirements, talent sourcing and acquisition, tracking of applicants in-process , talent data reporting/tracking, applicant interface and consultation with internal department hiring managers. This position will be trained by and take direction from the Manager of the Talent Acquisition team.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Sourcing, Recruitment, and Onboarding
- Review, draft, and post job vacancy announcements in internal applicant tracking system (ADP) and other sites.
- Creatively sources candidates through current talent acquisition platforms and technology to compete in the evolving talent market.
- Consult with Hiring Managers on their need for talent and build a talent acquisition strategy with the goal of generating a healthy and qualified candidate pool.
- Coordinate the updating of position descriptions with the field department and HR/Compensation.
- Point of contact with job applicants and answer employment/benefit related questions.
- Responsible for reviewing and qualifying all applicants for minimum job requirements and best fit.
- Coordinate pre-employment activities as part of the conditional offers to include pre-employment background checks, certification/licensure checks and help to facilitate completion of conflict of interest activities.
- Coordinate offers of employment; utilize interpersonal skills to effectively negotiate salary and terms
- Coordinate the salary setting process in partnership with HR's Compensation team.
- Responsible for pre-employment onboarding to Vaya Health through the new hire process in the applicant tracking system.
- Maintain a comprehensive list of new hires to include in the monthly New Employee Orientation program.
- Assist with complex issues and take partnership with leadership to problem solve any barriers to optimal candidate experience.
HR Policy, Procedure, and Administration
- Utilize the applicant tracking system (ADP) to screen and qualify/disqualify candidates for hiring manager consideration.
- Manage the technical through-put, screening, and onboarding paperwork/forms process.
- Understand regulatory requirements, policy requirements, and industry trends.
- Ensure fair and equitable recruitment practices in accordance with Vaya values, and all applicable employment laws.
HR General Support
- Point of contact for departmental position questions, strategy development, posting, and onboarding support
- Backs-up the Senior TA role as necessary
- Knowledgeable of Vaya HR policies and processes to support internal departments.
- Assist in new hire onboarding, as applicable.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- An Associate's Degree and four years of experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, or equivalent
OR
- A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field of study and a least two years of Human Resources or Recruitment experience
Incumbent must also have:
- Demonstrated negotiation skills
- Exposure to and understanding of compensation best practices
- Proficiency with data analytics
Preferred work experience:
- Experience developing reports, analyzing data, and data presentation highly desired
Preferred licensure/certification:
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparation and analysis of documents; viewing a computer terminal; and extensive reading.
- Physical activity in this position includes crouching, reaching, walking, talking, hearing and repetitive motion of hands, wrists and fingers.
- Sedentary work with lifting requirements up to 10 pounds, sitting for extended periods of time.
- Mental concentration is required in all aspects of work.

SALARY: Depending on qualifications & experience of candidate. This position is exempt and is not eligible for overtime compensation.
