Job Description:

Seeking candidate to work closely with Talent Acquisition and Human Resources teams. The successful candidate will support Bender Consulting Services' mission to remove employment barriers for people with disabilities while adding investment value for our customers by supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee training and development functions as well as administration of company policies. This job role is responsible for supporting talent programs delivered to external customers, including identifying talent with disabilities and supporting success of those placed within customers' workforce in both contract and direct roles.

Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Assists in the development and posting of job descriptions both within Bender's career portal, our national network of community partners, educational institutions, and government programs.
  • Develops and manages recruitment relationships with potential candidates, employees, program alumni, and referral organizations.
  • Reviews, screens, and interviews candidate submissions for skills, qualifications, competencies, and eligibility for Bender's open jobs.
  • Recommends qualified candidates with disabilities for customer opportunities and assists in processing candidates for submission for these roles, including data and process tracking, development of resumes, conducting reference checks, and interview preparation.
  • Maintains data integrity both within Salesforce and vendor management systems.
  • Responsible for new hire orientation and completion of onboarding processes, including paperwork, drug testing, education verification, and background checks.

Employee Training and Development

  • Conducts workplace mentoring for field associates and customer placements, including reviewing customer performance feedback and plotting a chart for improvement or continued growth in recommended areas.
  • Provides insight into success criteria for early career professionals, including tips on how to build or refine career competencies relevant to the workplace. Examples may include time management, organizational skills, seeking input, etc.
  • Conducts career reality training for field associates.
  • Leads weekly touchpoint and developmental teleconferences for associates. Suggests learning topics that builds relationships and workplace competencies.
  • Assists field associates with identifying and documenting projects, skills, and competencies gained within Bender talent programs.

Administration of Company Policies and Benefits

  • Ensures field associates are in compliance with and understand company policies.
  • Reviews and proposes updates to employee orientation, handbook, and other documentation.
  • Drafts human resources and benefits communications.
  • Answers questions from field associates related to company policies and benefits.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Recruitment experience and/or education.
  • Familiarity with human resources procedures and processes.
  • Understanding of diversity and inclusion benefits and ability to communicate these benefits to others.
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in a business discipline.
