Job Description:
IABA is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Coordinator in our Sherman Oaks clinic!For over 40 years, the Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis has been providing high quality, person-centered treatment for children with disabilities. We take great pride in the work we do and continue to advocate for the community we serve.We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our Talent Acquisition department and support recruiting for our Child and Adolescent Services covering the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles regions. As a Talent Acquisition coordinator, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring that our kiddos and their families are served by people who are as passionate, empathetic, and dedicated as we are!Talent Acquisition responsibilities include sourcing and contacting candidates, conducting phone screens and interviews, and hosting or participating in career events. To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires. Ultimately, you will create strong talent pipelines for our company's current and future hiring needs, and help us to maintain the highest standard of services!Wage Range: $22-25 per hour to startHours: 9:00am-5:00pmLocation: Fully in-person in our Sherman Oaks officeResponsibilities
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
  • Collaborate with the rest of the talent Acquisition team
  • Maintain high standard of service
  • Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
  • Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System
  • Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position's requirements
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events
  • Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department
  • Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, recruiter, or similar role (especially within fields of behavioral health, healthcare, education, and human services)
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks (e.g. Stack Overflow and Github)
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations
  • BS in Human Resources Management or other relevant field
