The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for conducting interviews for direct care positions within the PMH organization. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be responsible for providing a compassionate and supportive environment for new candidates, will conduct interviews per PMH standards, and will provide timely information to candidates on shifts that meet their preferences. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will work with the Recruiting and Onboarding and Human Resources departments to communicate candidate status and will ensure appropriate updates are made in PMHFOS's applicant tracking system as well as the web-based tool utilized by PMHFOS to communicate open position status. As-needed evening and weekend availability will be required for this role. The candidate will demonstrate strong networking and communication skills, maintain a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills, be self-motivated in collaboration with internal and external parties and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TALENT ACQUISITION COORDINATOR:
- Conduct interviews for direct care positions across the organization, following PMH standards, while providing a compassionate and supportive environment to candidates.
- Serve as first point of contact for candidates and ensure a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide timely and regular follow up to candidates to assist with interview scheduling, answer questions, and connect candidates with work shifts to meet their preferences.
- Communicate effectively with the Recruitment and Onboarding department and the Human Resources department to communicate new hires and ensure seamless transition to onboarding.
- Leverage recruitment systems, such as the applicant tracking system and HR Bid and Orientation tool, to ensure that candidate information is appropriately tracked and updated.
- Support recruitment and outreach activities at in-person and virtual hiring events, career fairs, and community events.
- Perform other duties, as assigned by the Vice President of Corporate Projects.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE TALENT ACQUISITION COORDINATOR:
- Minimum of two-years professional experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, Interviewing, or similar role, required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or other related discipline, preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), required.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and maintain a high attention to detail, required.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office - in particular Excel), required.
- Experience working in Human Resources systems (e.g. applicant tracking systems, human resources information system (HRIS), etc.), preferred.
