PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Talent Acquisition & Development Manager is responsible for ensuring the organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent. This role requires an HR professional with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with business units, create innovative talent acquisition strategies, and develop focused learning and development initiatives that align with Pitcairn's strategic goals.RESPONSIBILITIES:Talent Acquisition:* Partner with business units to understand staffing needs and develop comprehensive recruitment strategies that attract high-caliber candidates.* Lead full-cycle recruitment process ensuring an outstanding candidate experience.* Lead annual summer internship program to ensure a robust experience for emerging talent.* Utilize data-driven insights to refine recruitment process, ensuring they align with organizational goals.* Build relationships with universities and professional organizations, and other talent sources to maintain a robust talent pipeline.* Leverage digital platforms and social media for talent sourcing, fostering diversity and inclusion in hiring practices.Talent Development:* Design and implement talent development programs to support employee growth and skill advancement.* Collaborate with managers to assess training needs and deliver tailored solutions that improve performance and engagement.* Manage performance review process.* Develop leadership training and career progression frameworks that enable succession planning and talent mobility.* Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in talent development to ensure the organization is at the forefront of HR innovation.* Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, using metrics to improve content and delivery methods continuously.* Contribute to employee engagement events with a focus on talent developmentPerform other duties as required by the position.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field; Master's preferred.* Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition and talent & development, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment.* Demonstrated success in partnering with business units to recruit and develop high-performing teams.* Strong understanding of modern recruitment tools, platforms, and strategies.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.* Knowledge of instructional design, leadership development, and adult learning principles.* Experience with HR technologies and learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES:Successful candidates will possess a broad range of skills including:* Naturally warm optimism and empathy.* Deep curiosity that generates original ideas and industry-leading strategic thinking.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies.* Sophisticated interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.* Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with various personalities.* Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and accountability.* Natural ability to influence others by establishing credibility, trust, and confidence.* A desire to consider and explore differences in perspective, thought, and experience.* Ability to work both as an individual and as a collaborative member of the team.Pitcairn is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
