Job DescriptionAs the URUS Talent Acquisition Lead, you will have the exciting opportunity to oversee the Talent Acquisition function in North America across the URUS operating companies while supervising and mentoring a team of Talent Acquisition Coordinators. This role drives strategic recruitment initiatives, ensures adherence to best practices and leverages data to make talent decisions aligned with organizational and departmental goals. Responsibilities
- Leadership and mentoring: Lead and mentor a high-performing recruitment team, providing guidance, training, and professional development to elevate team performance.
- Recruitment lifecycle: Drive end-to-end talent acquisition strategy, from job requisition to onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience
- Strategic workforce planning: Collaborate with North America People Team to assess hiring needs, forecast talent requirements, and align recruitment strategies with company goals.
- Innovative sourcing techniques: Utilize advanced sourcing tools, social media platforms, and networking to identify and engage top-tier talent.
- Data-driven decision making: Leverage analytics and key performance metrics to optimize recruiting processes, reduce time-to-hire, and enhance hiring quality.
- Talent pipeline development: Build and nurture a strong, continuous talent pipeline for current and future organizational needs (Coordinates job shadows and externships for college and vet school students, Career Fairs, Industry events, etc.)
- Candidate relationship management: Establish long-term connections with passive candidates, fostering a network of highly qualified talent for future openings.
- Collaboration with hiring managers: Partner closely with department heads to understand role requirements and ensure alignment with recruitment strategies and organizational culture.
- Employer branding advocate: Promote the company's mission and culture to attract top talent through compelling employer branding initiatives and external engagement.
- Process optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes, incorporating feedback and industry best practices to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- BS/BA in business administration, human resources, or relevant field
- 3-5 years of recruitment team supervision/lead experience
- 10 years of professional recruitment experience
- Proficient in ATS and HRIS systems
- Proven team leadership skills and ability to hold others accountable
- Proactive initiator and tenacious executor
- Sales and marketing mindset and approach to proactively build and grow talent funnels
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to collaborate
- Excellent organizational skills
- Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
- Outstanding time management skills
