Job DescriptionThe Human Resources' Talent Acquisition Partner (TAP) serves as a strategic partner and provides effective HR Operational Services (specifically in the area of full cycle recruitment) to support the delivery of Stamford Health's objectives and outcomes. This role will focus on Talent Acquisition for our Nursing function, sourcing and developing pipelines to drive the selection of RNs, LPNs and other Nursing Specialist positions. This is a highly visible role with a unique opportunity to develop our Nursing talent across Stamford Hospital and Medical Groups. Partnering with hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.Work closely with marketing department to develop creative ways for addressing talent acquisition challengesProactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment and sourcing methodologiesSourcing and attracting qualified candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media, and professional networks. Serve as brand ambassador at various events, like career fairs or on-campus recruiting eventsConducting initial candidate screenings, assessments, and interviews.Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate communication, and interview coordination.Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunitiesCollaborating with hiring teams to evaluate candidates and make informed hiring decisions.Build long-term relationships with past and potential candidatesEnsuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.Managing relationships with external recruitment agencies or vendors.Analyzing recruitment metrics and providing insights to improve hiring strategies.Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives by developing and implementing strategic recruiting plans.Qualifications
- Previous working experience, preferably as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, for a minimum of 3 years. Healthcare experience focused on Nursing is highly preferred.
- BS degree in Human resources or similar relevant field
- In-depth knowledge of candidate selection methods
- Demonstrated understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes
- Experience with an Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Oracle preferred
- Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience with presenting to both a small and large group
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
- Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
- Prior Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
