Join Our Team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist I!

Are you passionate about finding the right talent and making a difference in an organization? We are looking for a dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist I to join our team and help us build a strong and dynamic workforce!

Key Responsibilities:

* Talent Acquisition Support

* Coordinate talent acquisition functions including background checks, degree verifications, and candidate testing administration.

* Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.

* Collaborate with other Talent Specialists to support the talent acquisition process.

* Provide a high-touch experience to develop lasting relationships with candidates and hiring managers.

* Offer excellent customer support across HROE and the University.

* Provide administrative support to the TAS team, including responding to inquiries, scheduling appointments, and following up on pending actions.

* Utilize recruitment tools effectively.

* Recruitment Analytics and Continuous Improvement

* Assist in facilitating continuous improvement through measurement tools, scorecards, and recruitment analysis.

* Evaluate the effectiveness of tools, strategies, methods, and materials, and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

* Required Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* At least one year of related experience.

* Required Skills and Abilities:

* Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications.

* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.

* Excellent customer service orientation and attention to detail.

* Knowledge of state and federal recruiting, hiring, and employment policies.

* Strong written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

* Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

* Preferred Qualifications:

* Working knowledge of HR systems such as Workday or other HCM applications.

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.

* More than one year of experience in recruiting, screening, interviewing, and hiring.

* Experience coordinating recruiting activities through HR representatives in the field.
