The Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessing, selecting and hiring solutions for their assigned client group. Further, in coordination with the Supervisor of Human Resources, will design and implement a strategic approach to identifying, attracting and onboarding top Clinical Talent to Vista Health System.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract nursing candidates.
- Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking, to source candidates.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess qualifications and fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Build and maintain relationships with nursing schools and professional organizations.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate communication, and onboarding.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in nursing recruitment.
- Lead the recruitment and selection process, and ensure that open positions are filled in an effective and efficient manner.
- Build a positive candidate experience, managing candidate communities, and maintaining relationships for those candidates not selected.
- Track and use of key metrics to drive continuous improvement and to make better recruitment decisions, to ultimately improve the quality of hire.
- Manage Student & Observation Program.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, psychology, education, or related field, preferred.
- Proven experience in recruiting, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- Knowledge of nursing roles, responsibilities, and qualifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
