In the Talent Acquisition role, you will leverage your expertise to focus on identifying talented candidates through proactively sourcing and building candidate pipelines, partnering with hiring managers to understand their needs for a new person in the role, reviewing resumes to identify all qualified applicants, conducting screening interviews, and partnering with hiring managers to facilitate positive decisions to ensure the best available talent comes to the team. This position will assist recruiting efforts for all of our locations in the US and Canada.

PARTIALLY REMOTE: Tyndale supports a strong work-life balance. This opportunity is a work from home role on a part-time, regularly-scheduled basis. To be considered, candidates must reside within a commutable distance from our two locations in the Houston, TX area or our Tyndale headquarters in Pipersville, PA (Bucks County).

Responsibilities
  • Conduct full cycle recruitment of non-exempt and exempt positions including, sourcing passive candidates, reviewing resumes, screening and interviewing candidates, recommending candidates to hiring managers, and extending and negotiating offers.
  • Build candidate pipeline by identifying target industries, companies, user groups, professional associations or educational institutions.
  • Craft strategic recruiting strategy for all open positions and generate effective job postings.
  • Build effective relationships with local technical schools, colleges and universities. Attend job fairs.
  • Manage the recruitment process in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Actively track recruiting activity using the ATS and generate reports, as applicable.
Qualifications
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' of related Talent Acquisition experience with a proven track record of being able to fill difficult to fill positions in all areas of the business including, sales, IT, marketing, accounting and finance, management, and distribution with proactive strategies. Must possess strong knowledge of Human Resources practices and employment laws and regulations. Demonstrated understanding and success in best practice recruiting strategies and techniques.
  • Demonstrated success at sourcing hard-to-find candidates.
  • Must be flexible and be able to pivot when priorities change.
  • Must be able to create best practice recruiting strategies. Must be able to work quickly and efficiently to deliver qualified candidates to hiring managers and maintain a positive speed to hire.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to influence candidates and hiring managers, and strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience in Talent Acquisition Systems and Microsoft Office applications including intermediate to advanced proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Prior iCMS ATS experience a plus, but not required.
  • High level of initiative, self-motivation, and a sense of urgency with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
