Job Description:
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and help drive our mission to provide holistic care to medically vulnerable adults. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the development of strategies that help attract and retain good talent. As a member of the HR/talent acquisition team, you will partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, proactively source candidates, and build a pipeline of passive clinical candidates to help the Company meet hiring demands. We are excited for the positive impact this role will have on the growth of business and engagement of our team members.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive, other duties may be assigned:
  • Serve as an advisor to managers regarding staffing best practices, sourcing strategies, job postings, hiring trends, talent market information, evaluation techniques, and decision making
  • Initiate recruiting process with hiring managers by conducting intake sessions with hiring managers, communicating process steps, clarifying job requirements, and setting process expectations
  • Proactively source diverse pool of candidates through internet recruiting resources, networking, social media, employee referral and other innovative and traditional activities
  • Manage the recruiting process ensuring high-touch candidate experience with outstanding follow-up and ability to communicate a deep knowledge of Eventus' business, benefits, compensation, and the functions of the hiring department
  • Screen and evaluate candidate fit by engaging both technical and behavioral interviewing techniques to identify exceptional ability; and ultimately finalize offers for successful candidates and transition them to the onboarding process.
  • Create and maintain job descriptions in consultation with leaders and manage creative job positing and proofreading for non-clinical positions
  • Manage applicant tracking system (ATS) to post positions, manage applicant flow and provide activity reports to hiring managers; maintain compliant records utilizing the ATS
  • Maintain positive, collaborative, and pro-active relationships with local colleges and universities, chamber of commerce, professional organizations, etc.
  • Collaborate with HR to help develop co-op, internship and other programs to source and attract candidates
  • Partner with operations team members and HR to plan and host virtual and in-person hiring events; attend local hiring events
  • Track and trend vacancy, recruitment metrics and provide internal customers and leadership with data as defined and requested
  • Meet recruiter productivity goals (e.g., hiring volumes, candidate diversity, time to fill, etc.) as defined
  • Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field OR a combination of education and comparable experience
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3-5 years' experience in talent acquisition (e.g., full-cycle in-house employer or agency recruitment) required
  • Proficiency using recruiting and applicant tracking systems required
  • Excellent PC skills required; Intermediate excel skills preferred
  • Experience sourcing candidates in healthcare a plus, but not required
  • Experience with job classification, job description writing and proofreading skills
  • Experience effectively sourcing candidates from a variety of resources including social media and LinkedIn
  • Knowledge of recruiting related compliance to include OFCCP and EEOC knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an employee-centric mindset
  • Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines and urgent staffing needs
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities
  • Strong level of detail and accuracy
