The Talent Acquisition Specialist executes an established recruitment process for assigned positions and locations, honoring our commitments by ensuring the process is efficient, reliable, and meets our high standards. This role will support our locations in Illinois and Indiana. The recruiter must be willing to travel to their assigned locations.
Shift: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday)
Work Location: On-site
Salary: $55,000-70,000 (based on experience)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Partner with the Hiring Manager to ensure the most qualified candidates are hired, fulfilling our commitment to high standards and reliability.
* Maintain compliance with Affirmative Action, adhering to legal and ethical hiring practices.
* Maintain accurate and current data in the Applicant Tracking System, ensuring reliable and precise record-keeping.
Creating Positive Experiences:
* Utilize the JX employment brand to promote a steady applicant flow, enhancing the company's reputation and attractiveness to candidates.
* Make initial candidate contact with various levels of professionals when needed to establish relationships and develop an interest in opportunities, fostering positive interactions.
* Schedule and gather feedback for onsite interviews, ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience.
Fostering Lifelong Learning:
* Participate in campus recruitment efforts, supporting ongoing education and development initiatives.
* Coach managers as needed in hiring decisions, providing guidance and promoting continuous learning and improvement.
Exhibiting a Pioneering Spirit:
* Aggressively source passive and active candidates through networking, internet and database searches, research, and telephone calls for current and prospective needs, seeking innovative methods to identify top talent.
* Identify industry and market-specific advertising opportunities, exploring new channels to reach potential candidates.
Demonstrating Good Stewardship:
* Post requested requisitions and modify descriptions and qualifications as needed, ensuring job postings are accurate and well-crafted.
* Qualify resumes against minimum job descriptions, phone screen candidates, and make timely recommendations to the Hiring Manager, managing resources efficiently.
* Consult on offer details, create offer letters, and present offers to candidates in a timely manner, ensuring effective and responsible management of the recruitment process.
* Identify and reach out to organizations to help identify referrals for areas of improvement set by Affirmative Action plans, contributing to the company's diversity and inclusion goals.

Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources related field
* 2-5 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources.
* Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
* Experience with full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.
* Experience in conducting interviews and evaluating candidates for roles typically found in a dealership environment.
* Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR databases.
* Proficient using Google Applications
* Strong ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
* Project management experience
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
* Maintains a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
* Valid driver's license.
