DescriptionThe Talent Development office is seeking a professional, critical thinking, teamwork-oriented, Go-getter for the Talent Development Student Assistant position. This student employee will report to the Talent Development Manager in Human Resources and have the opportunity to work cross-functionally to support training initiatives for Pace employees and learn more about Human Resources business functions. - Assist in the administrative tasks associated with the planning, managing, delivery, and evaluation of Talent Development programming including, but not limited to in-person workshops, virtual workshops, requested training events, onboarding & orientation initiatives, and Employee Development Day
- Provide support in sending Talent Development communications between departments and/or employees
- Be accountable for individual and team responsibilities and deliverables that range from assisting in event preparation (tracking registrations, room reservations, sending communications, preparing and gathering supplies, etc.) to day-of event delivery (supporting TD facilitators through preparing spaces, greeting attendees, taking attendance, handing out materials, managing supplies, etc.)
- Assist in maintaining various technology systems that track event registrations, attendance, and eLearning opportunities
- Administer surveys and save attendance data from Talent Development events
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (Experience with Canva or other design programs are not required, but knowledge/willingness to learn is preferred)
- Understand the importance of and demonstrate verbal, written, and non-verbal/body language abilities
- Demonstrate dependability and ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility by adapting to diverse environments
