What will you do as a Talent Engagement Manager? As part of the Human Resources Team the Talent Engagement Manager is responsible for performing Human Resourcesrelated duties on a professional level by supporting the organization in recruiting, onboarding, policy implementation,Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity and benefits administration. This position supervises the HumanResources Specialist Staff and plays an integral part in assisting the Director of Human Resources with development,implementation and maintenance of appropriate policies and processes, and ensuring compliance with all local, state andfederal regulations. Additionally, the Talent Engagement Manager is expected to live and demonstrate the Company'sCulture while being a servant leader within the company and the communities we serve.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Director in partnering with employees and management to develop, implement, and communicate policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations.
- Maintain and expand knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state regulations affecting human resources management, including identifying trends that could impact organizational objectives.
- Interpret, explain, and present policies and procedures to employees and managers.
- Develop, prepare, generate, and analyze on-going reports pertaining to employee benefit costs, staffing levels, turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, applicant tracking, Affirmative Action/EEO, promotions, transfers, and demotions.
- Work with hiring managers and HR Specialists to develop and maintain position descriptions in compliance with FLSA requirements.
- Work with HR Specialists to conduct job analyses and position audits to determine appropriate job clarifications and update job clarifications as required.
- Manage and lead career development initiatives.
- Ensure Health Care Reform ACA compliance including reporting requirements, Forms 1095c, hour tracking and part-time employee benefit offers.
- Monitor and ensure HIPAA compliance of all HR processes and procedures. Evaluate and make recommendations on company-wide processes and procedures related to HIPAA compliance.
- Partner with Director and HR Specialists in administering the company's Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) and EEO compliance including reviewing prepared annual EEO1 Report, AAP Snapshot and other Affirmative Action logs, as well as implementation of any actions resulting from the annual AAP review.
- Assist with coordination of benefit plans including initial enrollment and annual open enrollment.
- Participate in developing department goals and systems.
- Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals.
- Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of department and services performed.
- Assist Director in ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations companywide.
- Maintain updated process documentation for all functional areas of responsibility within the department.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of department administrative staff.
- Ensure appropriate handling of personnel matters including Assisting Director in hiring for open positions, evaluation performance, and taking appropriate actions in the event of underperformance.
- Coach and mentor staff in developing and achieving goals and objectives.
- Provide regular performance feedback.
- Identify and mitigate potential personnel risks.
- Include staff in planning, decision-making, facilitating and process improvement.77
RequirementsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a related human resources position.
- Background in talent acquisition, benefits administration, employment law and other government compliance regulations is preferred.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Certification preferred.
- Microsoft Office proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Work in an office environment; sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods; may utilize a computer terminal for prolonged periods.
- Work involves walking, talking and hearing using hands to handle, feel or operate objects. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to focus when using computer terminals.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- The noise level in the work environment can be moderately noisy due to manufacturing equipment in operation.
- May be required to travel to outlying sales centers and attend out-of-town training and/or seminars.
- Working hours vary between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. depending upon schedules and the season. Typically, Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 40 hours expected per week. Additional hours may be required.
