Job Summary: Our new Talent Manager will be an exciting role centered around empowering and enabling the success and engagement of our consulting team. They will be responsible for leading recruiting efforts to grow our team with top talent, as well as building out our future hiring pipeline through leadership of our Analyst Program. They will also be involved in coaching and developing early talent within our team and integrating new hires over their first 90 days with AMEND. All of this will require a strong understanding of our business, our clients' needs, and what success looks like in our organization. This essential team member will help us to achieve our ambitious growth goals and continue to raise the bar on talent within AMEND! Responsibilities: Recruiting
  • Accountable for leading an engaging, efficient, and effective recruiting experience for candidates
  • Align the efforts of the recruiting team and coordinator with direction and insight given by AMEND's internal capacity planning process
  • Build and maintain new and existing talent pipelines to meet future hiring needs
  • Assume accountability for the strategy behind on-campus recruiting efforts and grow strategic relationships with key connections at target universities
  • Attend key campus visits
  • Engage and inform all AMEND team members who touch the recruiting process
  • Support in the design of new roles and lead the design of their recruiting process
  • Conduct final round interviews and facilitate the decision process on candidates throughout the recruiting cycle
  • Continually improve the AMEND recruiting process to meet new talent needs
Analyst Program
  • Accountable for facilitating a hands-on, welcoming, and growth-intensive experience for Analyst Program participants
  • Lead Bootcamp training days to welcome Analysts and prepare them for client work
  • Engage and retain top talent in the program and manage any performance concerns
  • Set the direction and strategy for training and overall program structure
  • Manage strategic university relationships that support the funnel of talent into the Analyst Program pipeline
Employee Engagement
  • Facilitate onboarding from the date of an accepted offer through a new hire's first 90 days
  • Own continued training of team members based on promotions
  • Seek and secure awards that would be attractive to prospective and current employees
  • Provide culture content for the marketing team to share on social media
Employee Development
  • Lead development process for early talent by serving as a coach and a mentor to them
  • Elevate insights as needed to properly steer team members' development
  • Collaborate with leaders throughout the businesses to ensure that the team is getting all necessary feedback and coaching
  • Source and match team members to value-add external training opportunities
  • Support AMEND's internal Learning & Development programs as needed
Skills Needed:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or business (or equivalent work experience)
  • Proven track record of being a trusted advisor and mentor to others
  • Relationship building and interpersonal communication skills
  • Emotional intelligence and ability to be trusted with confidential and sensitive information
  • Big-picture mindset
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities
