KIPP Texas is part of the national KIPP network of 255 college-preparatory public charter schools in 20 states and the District of Columbia. Nationwide, KIPP students complete four-year college at a rate of 36 percent, comparable to the national average for all students and approximately three times higher than the average of students from low-income communities.

KIPP Texas Talent Recruiters are integral to ensuring that KIPP TX attracts, recruits and hires exceptional talent in order to drive talent infrastructure in support of key organizational goals across all KTX regions and central offices. Talent Recruiters serve as lead experts providing exceptional thought partnership, guidance, and talent acumen coaching to hiring managers. Talent Recruiters champion equitable recruitment processes and systems aligned to best in industry practices and KIPP Texas Core Values.

As a talent recruitment team member, you will be accountable for analyzing and gaining insight of organizational staffing needs, maintaining equitable selection processes, sourcing and cultivating best in class talent to fill current and future staffing needs, developing and implementing hiring systems with stakeholders, and executing talent strategy with fidelity to meet organizational talent recruitment goals:

Candidate Experience

Key Responsibilities

KTX Talent Recruitment Service Model Delivery

Client Experience

Provide expert thought partnership and talent insight to hiring managers and key recruitment stakeholders utilizing metrics (time to fill, compensation, candidate pool etc.) to influence effective high leverage recruitment actions and efficiently hire

Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, job requirements, ideal candidate profiles, selection criteria, and execute appropriate selection process logistics

Complete initial candidate screenings and share qualified candidates with hiring managers for hiring decisions

Provide critical feedback and input throughout the selection process in support strategic talent decision-making

Candidate Experience

Create and implement end-to-end hiring processes to ensure a positive experience for candidates

Engage and cultivate active and passive talent aligned with current and future KIPP Texas opportunities

Maintain and track consistent candidate touchpoints to ensure a pool of diverse and qualified candidates

Serve as point of contact for candidates interested in KTX opportunities providing support and resources to build knowledge of roles, responsibilities, and KIPP Texas organizational overviews

KTX Talent Recruitment Strategy and Process Execution

Own and manage the recruitment life cycle for assigned roles

Build awareness and promote recruiting efforts in collaboration with talent recruitment team and partners

Proactively source prospective high quality applicants and candidates through online platforms such as LinkedIn and other professional networks (internal referrals, external agencies etc.)

Represent KIPP Texas at job fairs, recruitment events and campaigns

Coordinate and facilitate candidate screenings (resume reviews, initial candidate interviews, panel interviews, reference checks etc.) and additional touchpoints

Review and develop candidate screening materials and resources used to evaluate candidate role alignment and readiness

Maintain accurate records of recruitment resources and materials including interview guides and notes shared between stakeholders and candidates

Regularly update applicant tracking system and provide accurate data to determine hiring needs and priorities

Identify opportunities and adjust recruitment strategies to meet goals through actively monitoring and analyzing:

Candidate funnel and pipeline data

Monitor and report progress towards priority goals

Serve as an active member of Talent Recruitment Team and Family

Participate in Talent Recruitment working groups, special projects, and initiatives

Foster a culture of collaboration through active participation in manager, team, department, and organizational meetings

Engage in learning and continuous improvement through co-creating a personalized learning plan and participating in development experiences to improve practices in equity-based recruitment and leadership

Qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or Associate's with 3 years equivalent experience in talent recruitment or similar field

Minimum 2 years of experience in talent recruitment/talent management preferably in a public K-12 education environment or comparable years of experience working in education

Previous experience managing ATS software preferred (ie. SalesForce, SmartRecruiters, Lever etc.)

Working knowledge of MS Office and Google applications

Skills

Strong collaboration, planning, and communication skills written and oral with ability to influence others to action

Experience in building relationships with diverse stakeholder groups and networks to meet organizational goals

Results-oriented with demonstrated success tracking results using data for systems and processes improvement

Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to utilize talent analytics, prioritize competing demands, align key stakeholders, and solve talent related concerns

Ability to multitask and flexible to changing needs

Effective time management and organization skills

Ability to travel to various locations within Texas or nationally, travel time up to 20%.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary is based on years of experience, degree of education, and level of expertise.
