JOB TITLE: Tanium System AdministratorJOB LOCATION: St. Petersburg, FL, Denver, CO, Southfield, MI, Memphis, TN.WAGE RANGE*: $65-75/hr.JOB NUMBER: 30417012REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:5+ Years of Tanium Patch and Deploy ExperienceJOB DESCRIPTIONThis position will follow our hybrid work model, we expect the selected candidate to be in office 2-3 days a week at one of the following Corporate Office locations: St. Petersburg, FL, Denver, CO, Southfield, MI, Memphis, TN.Job SummaryDuties: Main responsibility entails assisting with application install package builds and deployments utilizing the Tanium Enterprise Endpoint Management tool to align with enterprise vulnerability remediation efforts.Tasks include:Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving Tanium deployment errors.Maintaining server, workstation, and agent health, including WMI resolution.Conducting hardware and software inventory reporting through Tanium Interact.Developing, testing, and maintaining application installation packages using WinRAR and/or InstallShield.Configuring, testing, and managing deployments of applications, registry fixes, and scripted commands.Monitoring deployments across all environments and resolving any encountered issues.Implementing advanced scripting using multiple languages such as PowerShell, Python, Batch, and command line.Coordinating application releases with customers and other IT departments as necessary.Staying informed about industry trends.Representing the department in project activities to communicate service capabilities.Troubleshooting problems to identify root causes and apply appropriate fixes promptly.Providing support and technical issue resolution for other teams.Collaborating with vendors for issue resolution and platform strategy development.Skills: Competencies/Skills:Project ManagementExcellent verbal and written communicationUnderstanding end users' needs and translating them into application packaging and deployment projectsHigh InitiativeStrong organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively and independently in a team-oriented environmentExcellent time management skillsCustomer-focused attitudeAnalytical skills for identifying and resolving complex system issuesConceptual thinkingFamiliarity with ITIL ProcessesProblem escalation and resolutionTechnical Skills:Proficiency in Tanium Enterprise Endpoint Management toolScripting languages: PowerShell, Python, Batch, and command lineApplication packaging using InstallShield (preferred), WISE, and/or WinRARBuilding Windows installers and removals for enterprise, including passive and silent switchesKnowledge of Windows installer best practicesVersion control managementUnderstanding of OS and registryExperience with server and workstation Windows Operating Systems (32-bit and 64-bit)Familiarity with Windows AD, Group Policy, and FirewallsExperience in patch managementAdvanced troubleshooting skills, including root cause analysisUnderstanding of fundamental networking concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS)Familiarity with virtualization concepts for servers and desktopsRequired Skills : At least 3 years of experience in:Utilizing Tanium Enterprise Endpoint Management tool within a multi-site, 1000+ node environmentApplication packaging and deploymentScripting languages: PowerShell, Python, Batch, and command linePatch ManagementNetworking conceptsActive Directory, Group Policy, and FirewallsTroubleshootingSupport for workstation, server, and virtual desktop/server environmentsService Management experience based on ITIL practices (Service Now preferred)Support of Windows Server and PC Operating SystemsEducation/Previous ExperienceMinimum of a Bachelor's degree MIS, Computer Sciences or related degree and 0 to 2 years of relevant experience or a combination of education, training and experience.Strong end-user compute troubleshooting and support background required, ideally in a larger enterprise environmentEqual Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled* While an hourly range is posted for this position, an eventual hourly rate is determined by a comprehensive salary analysis which considers multiple factors including but not limited to: job-related knowledge, skills and qualifications, education and experience as compared to others in the organization doing substantially similar work, if applicable, and market and business considerations.
