Must be mechanically-inclined and enjoy working outdoors in physically demanding conditions.What will you be doing?Disassemble and repair valves, pressure relief devices and diaphragm pumps using various hand toolsPerform confined space entry and work at heights when requiredSafely utilize respirators and other safety equipmentProperly handle, mix, and dispose of cleaning chemicals and materialsOperate power washers, lifts, fall protection and other industrial equipmentFollow all safety protocols including donning/doffing PPE, lockout/tagout, bonding and groundingTravel for work at customer sites out of the St. Louis areaWhat makes you the right fit?You have a high school diploma or equivalent experience (trade school is even better!)You can lift up to 50 lbs and perform strenuous physical labor on a daily basis.You have great reading, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skillsYou are a self-starter, able to work collaboratively with a team and complete work with minimal supervisionYou are able to travel and work a flexible scheduleYou must be able to use hand tools like a sawzall, drill, or dremel tool. If you have experience in tank cleaning, pressure washing, or maintenance, that's a plus!A Class A or B driver's license and/or forklift certification is preferred but not required!Confined space rescue training/certification is a big help but we provide it if you don't already have it!PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands to reach, handle or feel, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:Industrial warehouse environment and exposure to inclement weather.Equal Opportunity Employer
