TMC Transportation has an immediate full-time/part-time opening for a Tarper working out of our office in Ft Dodge, IA. PRIMARY FUNCTION: The primary function for a Tarper is to assist and secure tarps on pre-loaded trailers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Tarp pre-loaded trailers per customer requirement
• Run tarp machine
• Apply pre-protective covering to secure loads
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma preferred
• Strong work history and ethic

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical requirements and work environment described are representative of those present while performing the essential functions of this job.

• Must have the ability to drive a commercial vehicle within short distances (less than 2 miles) from terminal location
• Ability to lift 80lbs
• Ability to climb on and off of truck trailers and loads
