To learn more about our values, please read our Statement of FaithJob Title: Task Force CoordinatorJob Status: Full-time, non-exempt. 1-year remaining on a grant-funded position with plans to apply for another 3-year grant period.Job Location: Bryan College Station OfficeJob Summary: The Task Force Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day logistics and administrative functions of the Brazos Valley Human Trafficking Task Force, which may include developing agendas and convening meetings; providing support to committees as necessary; overseeing data collection and timely collaborative reporting; overseeing the work of or liaising with the task force research partner; performing administrative tasks; and providing overall guidance and management for task force efforts in pursuit of stated goals and objectives in alignment with Unbound Now's policies and protocol and programmatic strategy. Compensation: Annual salaryBenefits: Unbound Now offers a generous benefits package including health insurance for employee and family with premiums covered by employer; employer-paid life insurance for employee; and the option to participate in Unbound Now's retirement plan (with 3% salary match after 90 days with a 1-year vesting period). Dental and Vision are available at employee expense.Schedule/Availability: Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, available for some evenings and weekendsWorking conditions: Work performed in a normal office environment or other professional environment. Work duties may on rare occasions be performed in an environment requiring exposure to weather extremes, fumes, odors and noise.Travel: This position may require travel for outreach, training and team/professional development opportunities.Job Responsibilities:
  • Support Unbound Now and Brazos County Sheriff's Office staff integral to the success of the OVC Grant in the achievement of all grant metrics, objectives, and financial management.
  • Coordinate meetings of the Brazos Valley Human Trafficking Task Force.
  • Serve as the primary contact for new and current members, including new member interview and orientation.
  • Participate in identification and outreach to relevant stakeholders to engage in the task force.
  • Ensure development and enhancement of task force member responsibilities and operational protocols, including interagency MOUs for information sharing and confidentiality.
  • Work with steering committee and subcommittee chairs to accomplish task force objectives.
  • Conduct annual awareness and outreach campaigns throughout the entire Brazos Valley region.
  • Serve as liaison for the BVHTTF and Unbound Now with the media.
  • Manage BVHTTF social media by developing content and providing community interaction.
  • Participate in data collection, evaluation, and grant reporting for Unbound Now and the BVHTTF.
  • Participate in community assessment activities for the Enhanced Collaborative Model project.
  • Participate in other Unbound Now activities, meetings, and events
  • In collaboration with the Outreach & Training Program Director update presentations, curricula, and print materials with evidence-based, data-driven information in compliance with grant requirements.
  • Conduct community and professional training in compliance with grant requirements.
  • Develop and conduct targeted outreach opportunities in partnership with the Director of Programs to under-recognized and under-served populations including males, victims of labor trafficking, rural communities, and individuals identifying as LGBTQ+.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development
  • Use relevant organization software and applications in daily job performance
  • Participate in staff meetings and organization wide meetings
  • Submit expense documentation properly and within required timeframes
  • Submit eligible mileage for reimbursement properly and within required timeframes

  • ECM task force grant successfully managed, with all conditions, deliverables, and timelines met
  • Healthy task force with consistent attendance and meaningful content
  • Increase in the region's victim identification, trafficking prosecution, and survivors served as a result of the task force
Working Relationships:Supervisor: BCS Director of ProgramsWorks with: BVHTTF partner agencies; Unbound Now BCS Team, Outreach and Training Program Director.Experience and Education
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a high-speed, professional setting.
  • Minimum of two years working with community organization, event planning, or group coordination.
  • Experience working with law enforcement, social service providers, and victims of crime.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferred.
Job Requirements:
  • Mature Christian faith, as evidenced by participation in a local Christian church
  • Three references, (supervisor, professional, personal)
  • Agree to and pass all required criminal background checks, including DFPS criminal history check and abuse and neglect registry check
  • Pass employment eligibility verification
  • Complete all required onboarding and ongoing training
  • Fulfill Unbound Now's annual and ongoing abuse prevention training requirements
