TAX ANALYST (New York, NY)Reports to Senior Tax Analyst and Tax Manager
Position Requirements:- Preparation of federal 1120F and state tax returns, along with related extensions and estimated tax payments, for multiple tax groups.
- Preparation of federal 1120 and state tax returns, along with related extensions and estimated tax payments, for multiple tax groups.
- Preparation of Forms 5472
- Working with the Senior Tax Analyst and Tax Manager in the preparation of tax provisions.
- Working on preparation and analysis of financial statement and reports for tax return and provision preparation.
- Compiling tax group information in the preparation of tax workpapers and calculation of book to tax differences which may include written documentation to support filing positions as needed.
- Assist with restructuring / realignment of businesses as needed as it would impact the tax compliance group filing obligations.
Skills:- Experience - min. 2-5 years in Tax
- Four-year degree required in accounting/finance and/or tax
- Excellent operating knowledge of Excel
- Experience with Tax Provision (ASC 740)
- Highly experience with Thomson OneSource
- Research via Checkpoint / BNA
- Big Four experience a plus
Compensation:- The expected base salary ranges from $110-125k, plus discretionary end-of-year bonus and a generous employee benefits package. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
