Ready to join an Alternatives Manager in NYC that is in huge growth mode?

This is a Tax Director opportunity here in NYC at an Alternatives Manager that is seeking someone with a diverse tax background that includes corporate tax. This role reports to the Head of Tax who is incredibly knowledgeable and a very down to earth individual. The Tax Director will be reporting directly to the Head of Tax so personality and fit is extremely important since it will be an intimate team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Manage the review of the quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations and relevant financial statement disclosures

- Manage the review of federal, state, and local tax compliance that is prepared by the external service provider

- Coordinate federal and state tax inquiries, including examinations and audits

- Review partnership allocations and capital accounts

- Assist with identifying and executing tax strategies and overall tax planning

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with external tax advisors, finance, legal, and other cross-functional teams. There will also be a lot of visibility to stakeholders and senior management.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of corporate (Form 1120) tax compliance and provision (ASC 740) experience from a public accounting firm or out of industry in the Finance Services space
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance
• Strong communication and analytical skills
