Tax Manager

LHH is partnering with a rapidly growing industrial manufacturing with over $2bn in revenue in searching for an experienced Tax Manager (Sales & Use tax focused).

This role will join an established team - average tenure is 8+ years - and a great overall corporate culture. This is a direct hire role hybrid 1x a week to Plainsboro, NJ.

A Day in the Life

This role is focused on sales & use tax functions, will oversee process and projects related to tax. You will be heavily involved with revamping ERP system related to tax (using SAP S4HANA).

Hands on with dealing with the closes - review and preparation.

You will supervises 2-3 employees.

Your communication skills must be on point as you will regularly interface with leaders within the organization as well as the external CPA firm.

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Tax
• 5-7+ years' progressive, tax/accounting experience preparing individual, partnership, and corporate returns.
• Vertex O-Series experience required.
• Highly proficient with, MS Office, including demonstrable knowledge with Excel
• Familiarity with accounting software – Quickbooks, SAP, etc.

Salary: $125,000-140,000/year

Location: Plainsboro, NJ*

*1x a week in office
