Tax Manager – Hybrid in Chicago, IL

Are you an experienced tax professional ready to take the next step in your career? We're seeking a Tax Manager to join our team in Chicago, IL, with the flexibility of a hybrid schedule. In this role, you'll manage complex tax engagements and play a critical part in the growth and success of both our clients and our team.

In this role, you will:

• 100% Review of tax returns for Partnerships (1065), and S and C-corps (1120), Individuals (1040) and others, as assigned.
• Provide consulting and tax-saving strategies to clients.
• Assist in tax field exams and any tax notice resolutions.
• Handle routine tax questions, research tax issues, and look for opportunities to provide additional services.
• Develop and maintain client relationships by providing high quality service that exceeds client's expectations.
• Network with bankers, investment brokers, lawyers, etc.
• Assist with managing, training, and developing staff.

What we're looking for:

• CPA license required.
• At least 5 years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax compliance and planning.
• Strong technical knowledge in individual, corporate, and partnership taxation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• A commitment to mentoring and developing staff, with the ability to provide constructive feedback.
