About the Position:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant with previous individual and business tax preparation experience. The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our clients' tax compliance and planning needs. This role requires a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex tax concepts effectively. You will be meeting with clients and preparing tax returns while you sit with them.
Responsibilities include:· Provide high quality tax services to entrepreneurial businesses and individuals.· Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trusttax returns in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.· Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance andidentify tax planning opportunities.· Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to clients,including advising on tax implications of business transactions andrestructuring.· Analyze financial data and prepare tax projections to assist clients inmaking informed financial decisions.· Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact fortax-related inquiries and issues.· Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members when needed.
Requirements:· 4-7 years of public tax experience, including previous experience workingin a tax preparation environment.· Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA license preferred, but not required· Self-motivated and detail-oriented· Excellent time management and organizational skills· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment· Leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to manage engagements· Ability to adhere to a high degree of professional standards and clientconfidentiality
