This role involves managing and mentoring a team of accountants, reviewing filings for accuracy, and researching tax documentation to assist with planning and audits. The Tax Supervisor will also provide guidance and training to new tax professionals and support the firm's overall tax strategy.Primary Responsibilities: Research, organize and review client tax documentation Prepare income tax returns Maintain compliance with tax regulations Conduct tax audits Manage team of accountants Train new tax professionalsRequired Skills: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification. Minimum of five years of experience in accounting or finance. In-depth knowledge of IRS regulations and tax compliance standards. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills. Proficiency with accounting software and data management tools.Desired Skills: Familiarity with various industry-standard accounting and tax software.
