Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian who thrives in a fast-paced environment for a hybrid role for both Large and Small Animal to join our highly in-demand hospital in Turlock, CA. Taylor ER is Stanislaus County's only 24-Hour Emergency Hospital. As the only ER in a 20+ mile radius, we have a high volume of trauma come in the door. We work closely with local GP's for transfers and referrals and communicate throughout the day with them on wait times, creating a better client experience through inter-hospital communication.

Hospital Overview:

Taylor Veterinary Emergency Hospital has a 24-hour support staff in our 8,500 sq. ft. facility. We are well equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including a Snyder O2 unit, Digital & portable x-ray, Rigid/endoscope, 2 fully equipped OR, 5 Exam rooms, Skills Lab & training classroom, Ultrasounds, & a fully remodeled Idexx Lab. Daily rounding and consultations with fellow experienced veterinarians create a team approach to challenging cases and provide a professionally rewarding experience for individuals that like to practice high level, compassionate veterinary medicine.

Compensation and Benefits Overview:

  • Salary Range: $175,000 - $200,000

Qualifications:

  • Veterinarian degree (DVM) from an accredited college or university
  • Current State Veterinary License
  • DEA registration must be obtained and maintained
  • 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
  • Excellent surgical and dental skills
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
