SUMMARY
Responsible for dealing card games as well as the operation and conduct of assigned game in accordance with Casino regulations as well as Table games policy and procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Deal Card Games; Blackjack, Craps, Poker, Roulette, or any variety of games offered at assigned property in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
* Inspect playing cards, dice, chips or other equipment for flaws or foreign objects that may affect normal play or result in a loss of game integrity.
* Count down table tray.
* Sign for appropriate table games paperwork. (fill slips, credit slips, opener/closers, jackpot logs etc.)
* Drop all currency in drop box after approval from Pit Supervisor.
* Promptly turn in tips to the token box.
* Maintain proper dress code and conduct at all times.
* Provide exceptional customer service each and every shift.
* Maintain good attendance and punctuality; maintain a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
* Attend company and department trainings or meetings as required.
* Must practice all safety policies, procedures and standards as set by OSHA
* Be able to deliver core customer service values.
* Adhere to company policies regarding strict confidentiality.
* Required to attend on-going training sessions and staff meetings.
* Willingness to cross-train and provide support in related areas of operations.
* Other related duties as assigned.

Shuffle Master, Cards, Chips, Dice, Roulette Wheel and equipment, Craps stick, etc.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience Required
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
Certification/Licenses Required
Must be TIPS Certified or able to pass certification upon hire.
Knowledge Required
Must have completed Dealer's Training and pass an audition upon hire
Skills Required
Active listening giving full attention to what other people are saying. Critical thinking, making decisions and work independently. Requires excellent communication and organizational skills
Abilities Required
Work productively under strict time restraints with variable deadlines Must be able to lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs. Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time. Requires reaching, bending, stretching, kneeling, crawling, lifting and carrying. Must demonstrate acceptable hand to eye coordination skills; requiring hearing, talking, use of hands and fingers to handle and feel objects, reach with hands and arms while viewing objects close, distant, color, peripherals and depth vision to adjust and focus. Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays and/or days off and variable shifts
Additional Job Requirements
Must be 18 years old. Must be able to pass a background investigation and a drug and alcohol screen as a condition of employment. Must successfully pass a job interview
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous table games dealer experience and/or possession of dealer training certificate.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to work in a fast paced, stressful atmosphere, having the ability to deal with difficult situations and people without losing perspective while remaining focused positive and professional. Must be able and willing to work in a crowded, loud, smoking environment. Must be able to handle being under constant surveillance. The needs for quickness and ease of adjustment to the work environment and flexibility to change are essential in this position.
