Your role will involve providing a comprehensive educational program for children aged 0 to 3 years, creating engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments that foster physical, social, emotional, and educational growth. Experience working with young children is a prerequisite, along with a Child Development Associate Teacher permit that must be obtained within six months of hire. Candidates should have completed 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units, including core courses, with at least 6 units focused on infant and toddler development.A California Health and Safety Certificate is also necessary, along with certification in CPR and First Aid, which should be obtained within six months of employment. Furthermore, you must meet health screening requirements, providing proof of a current negative TB test and immunizations mandated by Community Care Licensing, including measles, pertussis/Dtap, and a current influenza shot. Lastly, a valid California Driver's License and proof of current automobile insurance coverage are required to ensure safe transportation as part of your responsibilities.Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Some experience working with young children
