About the Role
The Teaching Artist is a non-exempt, non-profit instructor position that reports directly to the Theatre Programs Manager. The teaching artist provides instruction, leadership, and supervision to students in our theatre classes. The Teaching Artist may work between 10-20 hours per week. A highly visible teaching role, the Teaching Artist will support and uphold the mission and vision of ALC. This role is responsible for instructing and preparing students with ALC-provided curriculum throughout the school year. It is required to cultivate and maintain solid working relationships with various schools and community partners, as well.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Music, Theatre Arts, Technical Theatre, Arts Management, or a related field (preferred but not required). Previous experience in an age-appropriate theatre education program. Familiarity with non-profit organization business models.

Pay range and compensation package
Nonexempt PT $25.00-35.00/hr
