Teacher's Assistant-Wilson County Schools Lucama Elementary School Fike High SchoolPossibly serve as 1:1 with a student or multiple students with special needs and potential behavioral issues.Exceptional References are required. IN-PERSON LIVE INTERVIEW AT OUR GREENVILLE, NC OFFICE IS REQUIRED. MUST have classroom experience in a public school with special needs students. MUST have documented experience with children with substantial behavioral issues. Associate's Degree or higher required. Please apply only if you hold as Associate's Degree or higher. Must be able to work closely with teachers, other staff and students.Must follow instructions provided by teachers and appropriate school staff in supervisory roles. Must demonstrate patience, understanding and empathy.Must demonstrate excellent communication skills.Must be reliable and have an exceptional work attendance record.Needs skills and knowledge in diffusing difficult situations and dealing with problem behaviors. A clean criminal background check is required.
