Students, parents, educators and the community are invited to learn more about our services, programs, opportunities and innovations offered and available to prepare students for future success.Job SummaryEDCOE Special Services is seeking a collaborative Teacher for Students with Vision Impairments (TVI) to join our low incidence itinerant teaching team. This position provides direct and indirect services to children and students ages 0-22 with specialized vision services. This teacher works with school-based teams, as well as county regional programs to address the educational, communication, functional, and social/emotional needs of students with visual impairments. Requirements / QualificationsEducation: - Bachelor's degree - Valid CA Special Education Credential with Visual Impairment authorizationTo be considered the following documents must be uploaded to a complete application:

  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two current letters from the last two years)
  • Resume
  • Specialist Instruction in Special Education - Visually Handicapped
