Geographically based in San Francisco, you will be the linchpin of our NY and SF operations.
Our SF site exists to allow EF-funded companies to fundraise from Bay Area investors through the fundraising program (called 'SF Launch').The goal is twofold: 1) for founders to have the best possible experience and fundraising outcomes and 2) to build EF's reputation as one of the best places to find early-stage companies, by consistently delivering on-brand experiences for investors.
You will support the SF operations team to deliver flagship events, such as EF's Demo Day, as well as taking the lead across various day-to-day operational tasks on the ground in SF. You will lead SF office management - setting up and maintaining the space day-to-day. Working remotely with the NY team, you will support with talent initiatives across the US, including sourcing venues and masterminding complex itineraries. Additionally, owning diary and travel support for the SF and NY partners, you will have overall visibility over US time and resources, ensuring we are operating at maximum efficiency as a globally dispersed team.
Please note: This role requires you to be able to work up to five days a week at our San Francisco office and be open to spending extended periods in New York. We are seeking candidates who are currently based in the Bay Area.
What you'll do
* Manage our SF office, establishing an environment for founders and the EF team to thrive
You will take complete ownership of proactively managing our beautiful office space in the heart of San Francisco, taking pride in how we present the office to investors and founders. As we look to open the space out to Alumni and portfolio companies, you will own how operationalise this. The role will also include managing office health and safety, equipment audits and ordering office supplies.
* Diary management - supporting our Senior Leadership team to streamline and optimize their time
Working closely with Senior Leadership, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that things run to plan and to time. You will have ownership over the two of EF's Partner's diary and travel, managing schedules intelligently and supporting them to optimize their time. The Partners will be based in San Francisco and New York but will be traveling across timezones frequently.
* Support the SF fundraising team to deliver seamless event operations
We run frequent events out of our San Francisco office, ranging from small fireside chats to larger demo days. You will handle all logistical and organizational planning for these events, working closely with external speakers, leading logistics for happy hours, organizing intimate dinners, supporting hosting investors in our office for founder intros, scheduling practice VC sessions and coordinating events in our office space. You will seamlessly deliver events and logistical support to the highest standard and require only light guidance and support.
* Support internal teams with recruitment initiatives, ensuring we attract, find and work with the most exceptional individuals in the world
Working remotely with our teams across our US talent hubs and you will support the smooth running of candidate selection days and lead on elements of pipeline management, collaborating with our data and tooling team to refine talent processes and onboarding flows.
* Be the omnipresent powerhouse of organizational support across the EF's US sites
You will work closely with the Head of US Operations to be the consistent thread across NY and SF operations. You will lean into supporting with a wide variety of tasks, from ordering merch to keeping our office stocked and supplied. The team will rely on you to maintain the highest standards and set the standard for organizational excellence.

Experience with Salesforce, Airtable, Notion, Microsoft Office and G-Suite is highly desired but not required.
