City/State Norfolk, VAOverviewWork Shift Second (Evenings) (United States of America)2nd Shift - 2pm-111pm Monday through Friday with on call rotation (approximately once per month). Having to go into the office for weekend calls is extremely rare, most issues can be resolved over the phone.Supervises the daily operation of the Communication Assistants and the Physicians Liaisons. The Team Coordinator provides direction to a team; hires, terminates and evaluates staff; prepares employee schedules; maintains employee records for attendance and performance; provides daily monitoring, coaching and feedback to staff. The Call Center Team Coordinator analyzes performance using state of the art communication technologies such as CMS, ACD as well as other monitoring tools. Identifies opportunities for improvement, recommends solutions, and implements recommendations to maximize effectiveness of the team. Arranges for and conducts team meetings and training.Bachelor's Level Degree preferred.Understanding of Hospital departments/units and the health care profession preferred.
