* Monitors distribution operations by working to ensure that there is a constant flow of complete and correct inbound shipments, outgoing shipments, and internal record keeping by performing the following duties as the determined levels of efficiency and accuracy.
Major Areas of Accountability
* Ensure full understanding and operation of the control desk, including all functions to open and close the day.
* Monitor all incoming order workflow and ensure work is printed properly and dispersed to shipping associates.
* Ensure all work is completed as required by daily processes, and all orders are shipped at the requested time.
* Ensure all trailers are being loaded/unloaded properly and all quality expectations are being met.
* Have the ability to troubleshoot and provide resolution to issues that may arise
* Ensure all desk functions are being followed to hit all expected metrics - fill rate, productivity, and quality
* Answer any questions the associates may have in reference to their picking and receiving functions
* Through Career Path, develop further skills in the Warehouse in order to be multi-skilled and able to support across the teams when required (e.g. samples, Inbound or Outbound - Inclusive of associated processes)

* To personally maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout working day (5S approach) and to ensure that any issue is brought to attention of a supervisor or Warehouse Manger
* Shall follow EHS and quality requirements
* Performing their job in compliance with the guidelines given
* Drawing attention to the manager to any difficulties in understanding or following the guidelines
* Drawing attention to inefficiency of the system
* Take responsibility for those safety aspects identified for the given position
* Support the positive EHS culture
* Other job duties as assigned
Level of Decision Making
The position holder has all necessary authorities to carry out the tasks described under responsibilities, with the limitations mentioned below and with Coloplast general rules and guidelines: Position holder cannot:
* Change own job description
* Change policy for the area
* Change the strategy - and /or activity plans
* Involve external persons in projects, which may give them knowledge of strategical and tactical issues without previous acceptance from (relevant manager)
The position holder is authorized to make quality related decisions and handle lot status codes in E1 after being trained.
Basic Qualifications
* Must have Warehouse or Production environment experience
* A full understanding of working to good distribution principles, ideally within the healthcare industry.
* Highschool diploma or GED
* Knowledge and a good understanding of OSHA
* Demonstrate numeracy skills
* Knowledge in MS Excel, MS Word and have used a RF scanners or similar systems
* Willingness to learn Material handling equipment certification or MHE experience
* High attention to detail
* Ability to work to challenging deadlines and targets whilst maintaining quality of service
* Flexible approach to shift patterns and start/finish times
* Good communication, organizational, and time management skills
* Leadership skills
