The Team Lead will be responsible for setting up, diagnosing and maintaining process controls on all equipment in their designated area while managing the assigned production lines' performance.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor production for accuracy and efficiency, including collaboration with quality department to ensure part meets all quality and performance specifications through performing quality checks
- Ensure all work cells are correct after changeover
- Assist with process changes as necessary
- Create new waterjet recipes for new tools or tools moving from one line to another
- Start-up processes after changeover and operational uptime through temporarily operating production when needed
- Report out hour by hour efficiency and material losses along with identifying root cause and when applicable implementing corrective actions
- Analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot processes and problems
- Recommend improvements and support company continuous improvements initiatives
- Support Process Engineer in resolving product non-conformity issues
- Ensure procedures and process followed by all team members
- Keep plant tour ready/Instill good housekeeping in all team members
- Responsible for promoting a safe work environment and preventing injuries through 5S
- Continuously analyze the assigned area of responsibility for improved methods of production, tool design, communication, reporting, cost controls and layout; make recommendations to supervisor for improvements
- Take on additional tasks as assigned by supervisor
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates degree or Technical Degree preferred
- 2+ years' experience in a technical environment/role
- Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures
- Demonstrated leadership skills
