Team Lead AR in Lincoln, Nebraska, United States (# 1016)

The Team Lead, Accounts Receivable works closely with the Supervisor, Accounts Receivable, Banking & Sales Tax and is responsible for Buyer Services related to the Canadian & Australian Operations. The Team Lead is accountable for assisting the team with all services related to buyers.

  • Overseeing Accounts Receivable functions to ensure accurate, complete, and timely recording of Post-Sale Changes, Sale's upload, Refunds.
  • Reviewing and verifying Sale's upload packages and tax recap prepared by AR Administrators.
  • Investigating and resolving buyer issues in collaboration with site managers and bank.
  • Ensuring all payments are applied to the corresponded invoice and monitoring unapplied payments.
  • Ensuring internal controls compliance of systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Providing direct support to field operations teams with regards to their collection efforts and/or decision to take alternative actions when collection efforts are unsuccessful.
  • Assisting with month-end closing and reporting.
  • Acting as a resource of knowledge related to Buyer Services.
  • Providing supporting documents to the external auditors.
  • Providing hands-on training and mentoring for all new & existing team members.
  • Performing all HR related duties including but not limited to hiring, dismissing, completing payroll and performance management and reviews for all direct reports.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years prior accounting experience.
  • Effective leadership, relationship building, and team interaction skills.
  • Advanced understanding of accounting and operations systems including interfaces functions between them.
  • Proven experience of effective communication with IT professionals to ensure the needs of the business are understood and met.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Solid work ethic without sacrificing your sense of humor or your ability to get the job done while having fun.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to communicate and work comfortably with people, both internally and externally.
