Operating within the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) framework developed by Gino Wickman, the Team Lead will play a key role in maintaining an organized warehouse environment, supporting customer needs, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.**Key Responsibilities:**1. **Warehouse Management:** Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring proper organization, storage, and handling of inventory to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.2. **Customer Service:** Assist and manage customer interactions, including loading customer orders, addressing inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction.3. **Order Management:** Process and coordinate orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer requests.4. **Inventory Control:** Monitor and maintain inventory levels, conduct regular inventory checks, and coordinate with the purchasing team to ensure stock availability.5. **Safety Compliance:** Uphold safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all warehouse employees, conducting regular safety inspections and training sessions as needed.6. **Team Leadership:** Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff, optimizing performance, fostering teamwork, and ensuring a positive work environment.7. **Reporting and Analysis:** Prepare and analyze inventory and order management reports, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.8. **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Collaborate with other departments, including sales, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination of activities and alignment with organizational goals.9. **Employee Development:** Support the professional development and training of warehouse employees, identifying skill gaps and providing coaching and mentorship to foster career growth.10. **Continuous Improvement:** Participate in EOS meetings and initiatives, contributing ideas and insights to drive continuous improvement and strengthen overall warehouse operations.**Qualifications:**- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.- 5 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control principles, and safety protocols.- Experience working within the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) framework by Gino Wickman is highly desirable.- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.- Organizational skills with proficiency in order management and inventory tracking systems.- Proven track record of maintaining efficient warehouse operations and achieving customer satisfaction.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.Join Lyon Metal Roofing's dynamic team and play a pivotal role in managing warehouse operations and customer interactions in the metal roofing industry.
