Staffmark has partnered with a leading manufacturer of textile reinforcements made from carbon, glass, aramid, and natural fibers for lightweight construction. We are looking for an experienced Team Lead to join this dedicated team in Huntersville, NC. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee production processes, ensure smooth operations, monitor work quality, and guide the production team. Salary: $65,000-$70,000

Shift: Monday-Friday, 2 pm- 10 pm (Candidates must be flexible regarding training hours.)

With a strong foundation in technical (mechanical, textile, and/or electrical) and leadership skills, this position ensures that all machine operators on the shift fulfill their duties per work instructions while monitoring the quality of work resulting from machine operations. You will be responsible for educating and guiding the production team in terms of efficiency and production quality.

Essential Duties:
  • Lead a team of operators.
  • Provide support for the operation of the impregnation/resin machine.
  • Operate any position on the resin machine, ensuring dry material is provided per schedule, and assist operators with loading new rolls of foil in the unwinders.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve efficiencies through teaching and planning.
  • Work with existing documentation and complete required reports, either handwritten or digital.
  • Assist or lead preventative maintenance activities on production machines.
  • Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mechanical, electrical, or similar qualifications with verifiable leadership experience of 5 to 10 years.
  • Proficiency in M365; knowledge of SAP is beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing; a second language is preferred but not essential.
  • Maintain a polite demeanor with all colleagues and provide constructive feedback, highlighting clear improvement opportunities.
  • Stay calm under pressure and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
