We're seeking a skilled Team Leader to join our Early Intervention program at Behavioral Health Network. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional care and support, ensuring our program meets regulatory standards and exceeds expectations.Behavioral Health Network is a growing non-profit community behavioral health agency that has been providing services to children, adults, families, and communities in Western Massachusetts since 1938. BHN provides comprehensive, outcome-driven behavioral health care. We are dedicated to offering high quality, affordable and culturally appropriate care to people of all ages and income levels in our constituent communities.The Team Leader in Early Intervention supports the Program Director to ensure the program adheres to regulations and requirements of licensing bodies and funding sources including documentation and service provision. The Team Leader supervises Early Intervention staff. The Team leader works directly with children and families as needed. Position Summary:As our Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the direct services and productivity of your team, ensuring that they deliver high-quality care while adhering to all licensing and funding regulations. You will facilitate staff meetings and provide ongoing consultation, clinical supervision, and training to support your team in meeting DPH Operational Standards and program requirements. By championing continuous learning and professional development, you will help your team stay current with best practices and policies. Additionally, you will monitor and ensure that client documentation, including Individualized Family Treatment Plans and service records, meets DPH and program standards.What are we looking for in a Team Leader?Qualification/ Requirements
  • Meets Massachusetts DPH requirements as one of the Early Intervention disciplines.
  • Associates, Bachelor's, or Master's Degree in Nursing AND Registered Nurse inMassachusetts. Or,
  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Child Development, Child Studies, Education, or related field (with DPH permission based on percentage of EI team) OR Bachelor's Degree in any field with Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education required, and must have completed four (4), 3-credit college courses in infant/toddler development, family studies, or other related course work (to be approved by DPH prior to hire).Or,
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy required ANDa Licensed Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts.Or,
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy required, AND a Licensed Physical Therapist in Massachusetts. Or,
  • Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology required AND a Licensed Speech and Language Pathologist in Massachusetts.Or,
  • Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work with LCSW, Developmental Psychology, Educational Psychology or current license as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
  • At least 3 years supervisory or management experience.
  • Valid Driver's License, safe driving record, and vehicle available for all working hours.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of the Massachusetts Early Intervention system
