This position is responsible for managing a multi-disciplinary team that supports our Assertive Community Treatment or our Integrated Health Home team to provide whole-person, patient centered, coordinated care.Essential Duties:Provide clinical and administrative leadership to the multi-disciplinary team to ensure highly effective services are providedOrganize the daily work of the Team including the leadership of regularly scheduled planning meetings and the coordination of communication with other agency departments and the community at-largeEnsure quality of care through direct supervision of team staff, with emphasis on evaluating professional development and providing opportunities and support for career growthReview, interpret and respond to administrative, clinical, and statistical reports; demonstrate understanding and monitor compliance of department performance with standards of clinical record documentationProvide direct clinical services as needed, including: utilize motivational approaches to engage clients into services, perform mental status exams and develop risk management plans, utilizing crisis intervention, verbal de-escalation and counseling techniquesServe as a client advocate, making appropriate and timely referrals to other agenciesProvide consultation and follow-up communication with community agencies, medical facilities, law enforcement agencies, and inpatient unitsWHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU...At least two year of program management or supervisory experience in a mental health setting or equivalentLicensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Chemical Dependency Professional (LCDP), or Registered Nurse (RN) license required.For LCSW, LICSW, LMHC a masters degree at minimum is required.For RN licensure a Bachelor's Degree at minimum is required.Ability to multi-task and thrive within a fast-paced environmentExceptional communication skills with the ability to professionally communicate verbally and in writing with a variety of individualsA solid understanding of program management best practices and the ability to work effectively to meet deadlines and goalsA track record in setting priorities, shaping processes and developing infrastructure to ensure team productivity and efficiencyDemonstrated understanding and respect for the cultural and religious beliefs of clients and familiesValid Driver's License with reliable transportation to travel to our facilities throughout the area.APPLY NOWSubmitting your application is a great way to learn more about Newport Mental Health.
