Job DescriptionReports To: Chief Operating OfficerFLSA Status: ExemptSummary: Responsible for leading an ASW Mission Team to achieve its key performance indicators (KPIs) and successful mission execution for the assigned team(s).DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Team Leader
  • Understands the team KPIs and keeps the KPI scorecard up to date.
  • Holds team accountable and helps team reach or exceed the KPI targets.
  • Project Planning and Execution:
  • Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of audio-visual projects from initiation to completion.
  • Confirm and execute the project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Resource Management:
  • Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Mission Support Team, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of components and services.
  • Client Engagement:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the mission, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and managing expectations.
  • Provide clients with weekly status reports of their missions.
  • Budget and Schedule Management:
  • Maintain accurate status and dates within ASW project management tools.
  • Maintain accurate records and status of mission budgets and actual expenditures in labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Maintain project schedules, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and system testing to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of AV installations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and building codes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Address any issues or deficiencies promptly, coordinating with the team to implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain an NPS score of 85 or better.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, specifications, change orders, and completion reports.
  • Generate weekly progress reports and status updates for internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Previous experience in or 2-year or 4-year degree in a related field preferred, but not necessary. Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in AV, commercial construction, or a related field. Avixa CTS certification preferred.•Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common accounting and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies. Ability to effectively present information to management, public groups, and/or board of directors. Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with supervisor, clients, staff, vendors, etc. Spanish fluency is a plus.•Mathematical Skills - Ability to perform basic mathematical skills, including but not limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Applies general concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations and to ensure balances are correct. Understanding of accounting concepts including transaction categorization and ability to comprehend and explain financial statements.•Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. This role requires an above-average knowledge of Microsoft Office.•Other Qualifications - Valid driver's license required. Must be able to pass a background check. Previous experience in or knowledge of the following: IP networking knowledge; AV system troubleshooting skills.COMPETENCIES:•Accountability - Consistency in completing their normal work. Can see the underlying or hidden problems and patterns, is excellent at honest analysis and looks beyond the obvious.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:While performing the duties of this job, the individual must be able to remain in a stationary position for 90 percent of the time while operating their computer and performing office work. The individual needs to occasionally move about inside the office. They constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, fax machine, scanner and printer. They must be able to exchange accurate information with customers and others in the office while interacting. The individual must regularly lift and /or move up to 15 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The individual must be capable of reviewing their work for errors and make necessary adjustments.WORK ENVIRONMENT:While performing the duties of this Job, the individual is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate but can be very loud during system testing.
