Description:

St. Mary's Hospital a member of Trinity Health Of New England has an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader of Rehabilitation Services to join our mission-driven Team.

The Team Leader position is responsible for assisting with the daily operations and development of the outpatient Rehab locations. This position will assist management with daily operations and planning activities. The Team lead provides supervision of staff, staff education, training, and professional development, assigning of patients and caseload, facilitating interdisciplinary team care, and coordinating program meetings. This position also includes a Clinical treating component which is approximately 50%-80% of week.

What will you do:

  • Responsible for the overall clinical organization and functioning of the clinic to ensure professionalism and coordination of service.
  • Develops and maintains advanced clinical skills, including acknowledged area of expertise and multi-site/unit clinical service diversification.
  • Maintains appropriate communication with staff, treatment team, physicians, clients, and/or family members to facilitate problem solving, program planning and education.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of approved PT, OT, SLP, or AUD college/university program
  • State of Connecticut-PT, OT, SLP and/or Audiologist
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience within similar level of care
  • Strong interpersonal skills; strong organizational and time management skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; flexibility; initiative.
